Day 01
ARRIVE TO COSTA RICA
Arrive at the International Airport. One of our representatives will meet you at the airport to welcome you and provide private van transportation to your hotel. Check in at the Grano de Oro hotel for a one night stay.
Day 02
ARENAL VOLCANO
At morning, depart on private van transportation from San Jose to Arenal. During the afternoon enjoy a guided tour visit to Arenal Volcano National Park for a walk through its forest trails and past lava flows. During the activity you will learn about volcanoes, eruptions and contributions to the nearby town development models. Also, enjoy a walk through El Silencio trail to explore the primary tropical rain forest and finish at the Arenal Volcano observation point, which offer the closest and most direct lava flow vista. Check in for a one night stay at the Arenal Kioro Hotel.
Day 03
ARENAL LAKE & MONTEVERDE
Morning pick up at your hotel for short transfer to the Arenal Lake dock. Upon arrival board a boat to cross the lake on an entertaining journey. On the other side of the lake you will be met for 4WD vehicle transportation to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve area. Check in for a two night stay at Fonda Vela hotel. MEALS: B
Day 04
MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST RESERVE
Morning pick up at your hotel for a guided exploration through the world famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The reserve covers 26,000 acres of forest with a wide variety of different life zones and more than 2000 species of plants, 400 species of birds and a 100 different species of mammals. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities. MEALS: B
Day 05
NOSARA BEACH
Check out at mid morning from your hotel and departure on private van from Monteverde to Nosara Beach, located on the North-Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Check in for a three night stay at the Harmony Hotel. MEALS: B
Day 06
HARMONY RESERVE & LAGARTA LODGE
Join your local guide for a visit to Nosara Biological Reserve. This 125 acres reserve is home to a lot of species of plants, mangroves and wildlife. Many different birds, such as seabirds, herons, waders, and others, that altogether form more than 270 species, can be found. You can also see some other animals, such as monkeys, coatis, raccoons, armadillos, snakes, anteaters, crabs and reptiles. The area is a perfect place for hiking through mangroves and forests, for watching birds and other animals or for relaxing in the shadows of the trees. After the guided walk, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast at Lagarta Lodge Restaurant, set on a hill about 40 meters above sea level offering a wonderful view of the coastline of Ostional, the mountains, the river mouth from Rio Nosara and over the forest. Day 07
NOSARA BEACH
Today, relax at the beach or at the tropical pool at your hotel. Also, you may inquire to partake on other interesting tours available in the area. MEALS: B
Day 08
SAN JOSE
After check out from your hotel, meet one of our representatives for transportation to a local airstrip to check in for a domestic flight back to San Jose. Upon arrival, private van transportation from the airport to San Jose. Overnight at the Grano de Oro Hotel. MEALS: B
Day 09
At the appropriate time, private transportation to the International Airport for your return flight home.
