Day 01
ARRIVE TO COSTA RICA
Arrive at the International Airport. One of our representatives will meet you at the airport to welcome you and provide private van transportation to your hotel. Check in at the Vesuvio Hotel for a one night stay.
Day 02
SARAPIQUI LOWLANDS
At morning, depart on private van transportation through the Braulio Carrillo National Park en route to the Sarapiqui rainforest area located on the northern Caribbean slopes of Costa Rica. Upon arrival, check in for a two night stay at the Sueño Azul Hotel. MEALS: B
Day 03
HORSEBACK, NATURAL POOLS & WATERFALLS
At morning, meet your guide at the hotel to begin with an exciting horseback riding adventure which will allow you to admire the flora and fauna in the area. Before having a delicious lunch, we will visit a beautiful cascade where you can enjoy the pristine water born in the heart of Braulio Carrillo National Park. Here you will have the opportunity to relax with a natural hydro-massage and a refreshing swim at the cascades or in an 800 square feet natural pool and play with the gigantic water slide. MEALS: B-L
Day 04
ARENAL VOLCANO & HOT SPRINGS
At morning, depart on private van transportation from Sarapiqui to Arenal. During the afternoon enjoy a guided tour visit to Arenal Volcano National Park for a walk through its forest trails and past lava flows. During the activity you will learn about volcanoes, eruptions and contributions to the nearby town development models. Also, enjoy a walk through El Silencio trail to explore the primary tropical rain forest and finish at the Arenal Volcano observation point, which offer the closest and most direct lava flow vista. Late afternoon visit the natural hot springs in the area for a relaxing experience and if the cloud cover is high enough observe the natural fireworks. Check in for a one night stay at the Montana de Fuego Hotel. MEALS: B-D
Day 05
ARENAL LAKE & MONTEVERDE
Morning pick up at your hotel for short transfer to the Arenal Lake dock. Upon arrival board a boat to cross the lake on an entertaining journey. On the other side of the lake you will be met for 4WD vehicle transportation to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve area. Check in for a two night stay at Montana Monteverde Hotel. MEALS: B
Day 06
NATURAL HISTORY WALK
Morning pick up at your hotel for a guided exploration through the Cloud Forest. This informative walk through the forest trails will allow you to learn about the natural history of Monteverde and the flora and fauna that make up the cloud forest ecosystem. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities. MEALS: B
Day 07
SAN JOSE
After check out from your hotel, meet one of our representatives for private van transportation back to San Jose. Overnight at the Vesuvio Hotel. MEALS: B
Day 08
At the appropriate time, private transportation to the International Airport for your return flight home. MEALS: B
