Day 01
ARRIVE TO COSTA RICA
Arrive at the International Airport. One of our representatives will meet you at the airport to welcome you and provide private van transportation to your hotel. Check in at the Vesuvio Hotel for a one night stay.
Day 02
SARAPIQUI RIVER RAFTING
Join your guide for an exciting river rafting adventure on the Sarapiqui River, where excitement and nature walks hand by hand. We will depart at morning toward the Sarapiqui lowlands where we will enjoy this Class III river adventure suited for beginners or advanced rafters. Upon arrival to the river, have a safety talk with the professional guides before heading down the river to enjoy the thrill of defying rapids as well as peaceful and refreshing ponds for swimming. After the tour, enjoy lunch prior to your return to San Jose. MEALS: B-L
Day 03
ARENAL VOLCANO
At morning, one of our representatives will meet you at the hotel to deliver a Toyota Yaris standard or automatic transmission. After check out from the hotel, drive on a beautiful scenic road from San Jose to Arenal. Upon arrival, check in for a two night stay at the Arenal Paraiso Hotel. MEALS: B
Day 04
HORSEBACK RIDING, ARENAL VOLCANO & HOT SPRINGS
At morning, meet your guide at the hotel to enjoy a horseback riding adventure going through the slopes of the volcano, not on conventional road but on a path through the mountain used by the pioneers of the region many years ago. You will cross rivers and beautiful landscapes, admire the Arenal Volcano from a close perspective and enjoy riding a horse at an isolated area. During your tour you will visit an observation spot where you will see lava from old eruptions.
During the afternoon enjoy a guided tour visit to Arenal Volcano National Park for a walk through its forest trails and past lava flows. During the activity you will learn about volcanoes, eruptions and contributions to the nearby town development models. Also, enjoy a walk through El Silencio trail to explore the primary tropical rain forest and finish at the Arenal Volcano observation point, which offer the closest and most direct lava flow vista. Late afternoon visit the natural hot springs in the area for a relaxing experience and if the cloud cover is high enough observe the natural fireworks. MEALS: B-D
Day 05
MANUEL ANTONIO
Check out at morning from your hotel and drive from Arenal to Manuel Antonio National Park, located on the Mid-Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Check in for a two night stay at Costa Verde Hotel. MEALS: B
Day 06
SNORKELING & KAYAKS
This day we will explore the exotic coastline and nearby beaches of Manuel Antonio while kayaking! Your guide will meet you at the hotel for short drive to Quepos. After a safety talk with your guide and equipment use instructions you will board your single or double kayak to begin your exploration. During the journey we will stop a various locations along the coast for swimming, relaxing at the beach and snorkeling on three different coral reef formations on growth process. MEALS: B-L
Day 07
CANOPY ADVENTURE & SAN JOSE
Meet your guide at the hotel for a drive to a tropical forest reserve area near to Manuel Antonio. Upon arrival have a safety talk with your guide and equipment use instructions prior to enjoying an exhilarating canopy adventure which will allow you to glide through the forest canopy and experience an exciting but yet educationally focused tour. A great variety of animals will be seen in the surrounding forest such as howler and white-face monkeys, sloths and toucans. There will be also time to explore the surrounding forest trails along with a naturalist guide.
At early afternoon, check out from your hotel and drive back to San Jose. Upon arrival, return your rental vehicle at the hotel. Overnight at the Vesuvio Hotel. MEALS: B
Day 08
At the appropriate time, private transportation to the International Airport for your return flight home. MEALS: B
