Day 01
ARRIVE TO COSTA RICA
Arrive at the International Airport. One of our representatives will meet you at the airport to welcome you and provide private van transportation to your hotel in San Jose.  Check in at the Double Tree Cariari Hotel for a two night stay.

Day 02
SARAPIQUI RIVER RAFTING
Join your guide for an exciting river rafting adventure on the Sarapiqui River, where excitement and nature walks hand by hand. We will depart at morning toward the Sarapiqui lowlands where we will enjoy this Class III river adventure suited for beginners or advanced rafters. Upon arrival to the river, have a safety talk with the professional guides before heading down the river to enjoy the thrill of defying rapids as well as peaceful and refreshing ponds for swimming. After the tour, enjoy lunch prior to your return to San Jose. MEALS: B-L

Day 03
ARENAL VOLCANO & HOT SPRINGS
At morning, depart on private van transportation from San Jose to Arenal. During the afternoon enjoy a guided tour visit to Arenal Volcano National Park for a walk through its forest trails and past lava flows. During the activity you will learn about volcanoes, eruptions and contributions to the nearby town development models. Also, enjoy a walk through El Silencio trail to explore the primary tropical rain forest and finish at the Arenal Volcano observation point, which offer the closest and most direct lava flow vista. Late afternoon visit the natural hot springs in the area for a relaxing experience and if the cloud cover is high enough observe the natural fireworks. Check in for a two night stay at the Arenal Springs Hotel. MEALS: B-D

Day 04
HORSEBACK RIDING & WATERFALLS
Enjoy a horseback riding expedition to La Fortuna Waterfalls. We will be going on a short drive to the activity starting point where we will head 5 ½ kilometers southeast from the town of Fortuna surrounded by pasture lands and forest areas while riding on well trained horses.  Upon arrival, we will walk approximately 500 meters through a forest trail to get to the 70 meters high waterfall.  Enjoy plenty of time to relax and have a refreshing dip at a natural pool at the base of the waterfall. Day 05
CANOPY TOUR & SAN JOSE
Meet your guide at the hotel for a short drive to the canopy starting point for safety talk and equipment use instructions prior to enjoying an exhilarating canopy adventure which will allow you to glide through the forest canopy on 18 different cables with a maximum length of 1200 feet and up to 120 feet high. You will also have the opportunity to walk through primary rainforest trails and a 63 feet long suspended bridge. At early afternoon meet one of our representatives for private van transportation back to San Jose. Overnight at the Double Tree Cariari Hotel. MEALS: B

Day 06
MOUTAIN BIKE IN TURRIALBA
Check out from your hotel at morning for a drive to the town of Turrialba to enjoy an interesting mountain bike adventure through the tropical plantations of the CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center).  The topography of the terrain to explore is not difficult, making this adventure a good option for beginners or experienced bikers.  During the tour we will combine the adventure of mountain biking with a learning experience of the great diversity of flora and fauna as well as tropical plantations in the area.  We will visit also a tropical botanical garden before heading to your hotel. Check in for a two night stay at Casa Turire Hotel. MEALS: B-L

Day 07
CANYONING ADVENTURE
Experience along with your guide an exhilarating adventure where you will be rappelling descending cliffs and waterfalls at a canyon near to the town of Turrialba.  After a safety talk and equipment use instructions by your guides, enjoy the excitement of rappelling down four different waterfalls, zip line on four different canopy cables, descending down two tall bridges and walking across a 132 feet hanging bridge for that ultimate adrenaline rush! MEALS: B-L

Day 08
SAN JOSE
After check out from your hotel, meet one of our representatives for private van transportation back to San Jose. Overnight at the Double Tree Cariari Hotel. MEALS: B

Day 09
At the appropriate time, private transportation to the International Airport for your return flight home. MEALS: B
